A recent extension in Heaton, Newcastle. The old A recent extension in Heaton, Newcastle. The old tiny kitchen was demolished and a new rear extension was added across the rear. Then the existing dining room and breakfast room were knocked through to form an open plan kitchen/diner. The exposed beam painted yellow was a great touch by my clients. This project in #countydurham is on site at the mo This project in #countydurham is on site at the moment. It's an extensive remodel of an existing split level bungalow. It involves a complete new frontage, full internal remodel, extensions to front, side and rear plus new dormer to the loft space. The random window frame patterns were inspired by Mondrian paintings. There was even a brief discussion about red, blue and yellow glass! Hope to add some photos of the finished build in future. These #enscape renders show the different lighting arrangements that can be achieved by changing the time of day. A simple rear extension to replace a conservatory A simple rear extension to replace a conservatory on a detached house in #gateshead It made a lot of difference to the inside space. Part of the design was to hide the large steel beams running through the middle of the room which support the first floor rear wall. This one was a side return extension to a Georgian terraced house in Newcastle upon Tyne. A lovely family home let down by the original small kitchen. The extension allowed the kitchen to be increased in size and created space for a dining table.
